QUESTION
what ISO protocol is used 144442 ? How does this work? Ho do I program it to work with a wristband for a day and reset? How do I override?
asked by Keith on Jul 15, 2015
*The RFID protocol that our 2254/2154 model RFID locks use is MiFare Classic.
*In shared use mode the RFID wristband accessory will pair with any available and open lock. When the user comes back to retrieve their belongings the wristband unlocks the lock and both the wristband and locker automatically reset to become open and available for the next user.
*You can override a locked lock using the control card. It will not only open the locker but erase the current RFID wristband from the lock, making it open and available for the next user.

QUESTION
Is this lock suitable for an outside use? We need a lock to be used for an outside dog park. Is it battery-operated or it needs to be plugged in? What is the difference between the shared and permanent use? We would like to have the access cards be programmed individually for each member, to be able to deactivate some of them if someone is out of town, for example.
asked by Mark on Jun 06, 2017
These locks are not intended for outside use. They are weather resistant, but not waterproof. These can go in a covered outside area as long as the temperatures do not fluctuate below freezing. The units are powered by (4) AA batteries for each standalone unit.
Shared use is for scenarios where a user approaches any locker that is not currently in use and assigns themselves a temporary code to use the locker. After use the combination is automatically recycled and the lock is available for the next user to do the same.
Permanent use is where a locker is assigned to a user, who will use the same combination for an extended period of time.

QUESTION
What are the product dimensions? This opens with a card not a code right? Does it come with the card?
asked by Jordan on Aug 13, 2017
The 2154 model uses an RFID card to open and not a keypad. Our 2254 model with a keypad is available as well. We include a user card with each lock included in the product price for this lock.

The lock is capable of pairing (10) user cards to it at one time. Just make sure to give us that instruction when you submit your order (leave a note in "order notes" field).
